Derek Gambell BSc., CPA, EPA, ETMA Born in 1946, Derek is a graduate of London University where he gained a First Class, industrial-based, Honours degree in Chemistry. He joined the UK Patent Office as a patent examiner and worked in both private practice and a multi-national industrial patent department before founding his own firm in 1995 and merging with Graham Watt & Co LLP seven years later. J. Gerald Holdcroft Gerald received a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University in 1958. He spent the first eight years of his patents career in industrial patent practices then went into private practice. He joined Graham Watt & Co LLP in 1968 and became senior partner in 1990. Having retired in 2003 after some 44 years in the patent profession, he continues his association with the firm as Consultant.
John S. S. Grant CPA, MITMA, ETMA After qualifying as a mechanical engineer John started his patents career in an industrial practice qualifying as a Chartered Patent Agent in 1981. His last industrial position was as IP manager to Redland plc which he left in 1988 to start his own IP Consultancy. |
